Sylvain Delzon, a research director at INRA since 2011, defies the law of cavitation to study the response of forests to climate change. In the field with an in situ monitoring device, but also in the lab with the cavitron which makes it possible to measure the resistance to drought of forest species from all over the world. For him, INRA is the ideal place to carry out his research at the intersection of ecology and agricultural science.
