On the occasion of the 54th International Agricultural Show, more than 150 INRA researchers will meet with the public and professionals to provide insight into the microworlds which play an essential role in our environment and our health, from the soil to the intestine. These scientists will explain the research conducted at INRA. Discover in this report some of the profiles of these "giants", explorers of microbial worlds.
Where do we find microbes? What are they? What purpose do they serve? Eighteen research units are present on the INRA stand to answer these questions, centred around:
- microbes in humans and animals
- microbes in plants and natural and cultivated environments
- microbes in food and biotechnologies
Information on opportunities for recruitment at INRA will be available on the stand. Take the opportunity to meet our research teams. From technicians to engineers, from junior research scientists to experienced scientists, discover the range of professions and fields of research involved in order to construct research which is attentive to the concerns of society, instructive for public policies and public debate and innovative for farmers and citizens.
