A terrific team spirit, a healthy sense of competition, innovative partnerships, these are the keys to success for this team of 40 led by Didier Boichard that developed a new method for selecting breeding sires. Calves may now be assessed from birth using their genome. This makes it possible for the widest range of livestock farmers to better align their breeding programmes with their desired outcomes.
